I am an Australian female photographer currently based in the UK. Photography has long been a part of me. Looking at things through the viewfinder of a camera has always felt natural. Photography, for me, is a way of seeing and interpreting my environment. The camera shields me from the world while at the same time connects me to it.

The past year in the UK has seen a change of direction in my work. I am now concentrating my art practice on exploring the built environment. I have developed a real fascination with the conditions in which people in the UK live - particularly those in public housing - and the measures we take to individualise our allotted spaces.

At some point in the future I hope to undertake an MA, and teach.
